Ski touring in Morocco is a once-in-a-lifetime adventure that combines the thrill of skiing with the culture and hospitality of the Atlas Mountains. Join us for a 7-day guided ski touring expedition where you’ll summit and ski some of North Africa’s highest peaks, including Mount Toubkal (4167m), Ouanoukrim (4089m), and Akioud (4030m). Enjoy authentic Moroccan cuisine, cozy mountain refuges, mule support, and the expertise of certified ski touring guides. This trip ends with a magical experience in the Agafay Desert, including camel rides, quad biking, and a traditional Moroccan dinner. Tour Itinerary Day 1: Arrival in Marrakech – Transfer to Imlil (1740m) Pick-up from Marrakech Menara Airport. If you arrive early: optional Marrakech city tour (Jemaa el-Fnaa, souks, Bahia Palace). Afternoon transfer (1h30 drive) to Imlil village (1740m), gateway to Toubkal National Park. Overnight in a charming riad with dinner included. Day 2: Imlil – Trek to Toubkal Refuge (3207m) Meet your guide, muleteers, and porters. Luggage carried by mules. Start the trek through Aremd village, Sidi Chamharouch shrine, and ascend into the snow line. Arrive at the Toubkal Refuge (3207m) where our chef prepares fresh meals. Overnight in refuge. Day 3: Ski Touring Mount Toubkal (4167m) – Refuge Breakfast at the hut. Around 9:00 am, start the ascent (3h climb) to Mount Toubkal, the highest peak in North Africa (4167m). Ski down wide snowy slopes back to the hut. Hot lunch at the refuge prepared by our cook. Overnight in Toubkal Refuge. Day 4: Ski Touring Ouanoukrim Summit (4089m) Early departure for Ouanoukrim (4089m), a challenging and rewarding ski descent with breathtaking views of the Atlas range. Ski down to the refuge. Dinner and overnight in Toubkal Refuge. Day 5: Ski Touring Akioud Summit (4030m) – Return to Imlil (1740m) Ascent of Akioud (4030m), considered one of the best ski touring peaks in the region. Enjoy stunning slopes and excellent snow conditions. After descent, lunch at the refuge. Trek back down to Imlil village for a comfortable riad stay. Day 6: Marrakech & Agafay Desert Experience Morning transfer to Marrakech. Afternoon trip to the Agafay Desert: Camel ride across desert landscapes. Quad biking adventure. Traditional Moroccan dinner under the stars. Return to Marrakech for overnight in a riad. Day 7: Departure Breakfast at the riad. Transfer to Marrakech Airport for your flight home.
