Overview Explore Morocco’s volcanic Jbel Siroua massif on this 6-day guided trek between the High Atlas and Anti-Atlas. Walk through saffron fields, Amazigh villages, dramatic basalt formations, and peaceful valleys — a remote alternative to the busy Toubkal region. Day-by-Day Summary Day 1 – Marrakech → Tamazirt (5h drive / 2h walk) Drive via Tizi n’Tichka, meet the mule team in Tamlakout, and walk to Tamazirt. Overnight camp. Day 2 – Tamazirt → Maous Plateau (5h30 walk) Cross farming plateaus, visit Aït Tigga and Aït Ighmour Valley. Camp on the Maous Plateau. Day 3 – Maous Plateau → Summit Siroua → Azib N’Tizgui (6h walk) Climb the non-technical 3305m summit with panoramic views. Descend to Azib N’Tizgui for camp. Day 4 – Azib N’Tizgui → Tagouyamt Valley (5h walk) Visit Tizgui granary, then follow terraced saffron valleys to camp near Tagouyamt. Day 5 – Tagouyamt → Ifran (5h30 walk) Walk across open plateaus to the Tislit Valley. Lunch near Ihoukarn. Overnight in an Amazigh homestay in Ifran. Day 6 – Ifran → Marrakech Return via the scenic Tizi n’Test Pass and arrive in Marrakech in the afternoon.
