4 Days Mount Toubkal Trek via the Hidden Tazaghart Hut A unique trekking route to the summit of Mount Toubkal (4,167m) via the peaceful Tazaghart Refuge. This scenic High Atlas adventure crosses traditional Berber villages, high mountain passes, and the beautiful Ighouliden waterfalls, offering a quieter and more authentic alternative to the classic Toubkal route. Itinerary Day 1: Marrakech – AgerSioual – Tizi Oussem Drive from Marrakech to AgerSioual Village (1,400m). Meet your guide and mule team, then hike through terraced fields and walnut groves to Tizi Oussem (1,850m). Hiking: 4–5 hours • Overnight in guesthouse. Day 2: Tizi Oussem – Ighouliden Waterfalls – Tazaghart Refuge Trek through Azib Tamsoult and visit the spectacular Ighouliden Waterfalls before climbing to the quiet alpine Tazaghart Refuge (3,000m). Hiking: 5–6 hours. Day 3: Tazaghart Refuge – Tizi n’Aguelzim – Toubkal Refuge Climb to Tizi n’Aguelzim (3,600m) via the famous “99 zigzags” trail, with wide views over the High Atlas, before descending to Toubkal Refuge (3,207m). Optional route via Tizi Tadat for experienced hikers. Hiking: 5–6 hours. Day 4: Toubkal Refuge – Summit – Imlil Early ascent to the summit of Mount Toubkal (4,167m) for breathtaking views across the Atlas Mountains. Descend back to the refuge, then continue to Imlil. Hiking: 8–9 hours.
